TRENDS Conference secures featured speakers

June 12, 2019

The 25th Annual FSU Real Estate TRENDS Conference is October 24 and 25, 2019 in Tallahassee (Homecoming weekend with the Syracuse vs FSU football game). We are pleased to announce that the conference committee, under the leadership of Chris Marino, John Mogg and Ted Bollmann, has confirmed David Rubenstein and Dan Quayle as featured speakers.

  • David Rubenstein is the co-founder and co-executive chairman of The Carlyle Group, headquartered in Washington, D.C. Carlyle is one of the world’s largest and most successful investment firms. Co-founded in 1987 by Mr. Rubenstein, Carlyle has grown into a firm managing $210 billion from 31 offices around the world.
  • Dan Quayle is the chairman of Cerberus Global Investments, LLC in New York, and the former vice president of the United States. Former Vice President Quayle joined Cerberus in 1999. Founded in 1992, Cerberus is a global leader in alternative investing with approximately $39 billion in assets across complementary credit, private equity, and real estate platforms.

The full line-up of speakers and conference schedule will be announced in the coming weeks. Conference registration will open in August. With our event space limiting us to 700 guests, we anticipate the conference will once again “sell out” early!
