TRENDS Conference sets a trend!
The 2018 FSU Real Estate TRENDS Conference, held October 25th and 26th at Florida State University was an enormous success, with a record number of attendees and a “sold out” crowd of nearly 700 that included more than 115 sponsors and program partners from across the country!
The conference opened with a reception on Thursday, highlighted by John Heilemann and Mark McKinnon, creators and co-hosts of “The Circus,” Showtime’s heralded series. Friday’s plenary and breakout sessions featured John Burns, John Burns Real Estate Consulting; Nick Egelanian, SiteWorks Retail Real Estate Services; Lisa Pendergast, CRE Finance Council; Brett White, Cushman & Wakefield, and a host of high-level panelists and moderators. The speakers brought a diverse portfolio of experience and expertise necessary to discuss the emerging trends affecting our national, regional, and local market place.
The dedication and commitment of our conference committee, sponsors, alumni, and board members, ensures we host a world-class forum that informs, challenges, and inspires year after year. Attendees included institutional and private equity investors, advisors, lenders, asset managers, corporate users, developers, attorneys, brokers, appraisers and policy makers, and are a major draw to attend the conference on their own merit. In its effort to “extend the traditional classroom,” the Real Estate Center reserves space for 125 students to attend the conference. The real estate program at FSU is consistently recognized as one of the nation’s preeminent programs.
We thank the speakers, sponsors, organizers, attendees and students for another successful conference! We look forward to 2019 and celebrating the TRENDS Conference’s 25th year. The dates will be released in February.
