The FSU Real Estate Center hosted the 27th Real Estate TRENDS Conference on Thursday, October 21 and Friday, October 22, 2021.
The FSU Real Estate TRENDS Conference is a world-class business forum organized to highlight the emerging trends and conditions facing the real estate industry and to discuss conditions affecting national, regional and local markets. The conference consistently brings together experts from across the country with the goal of informing, challenging and inspiring its attendees. This distinctive event was delivered through in-person and virtual options. View the conference program.
The conference committee, chaired by Reggie Bouthillier of Stearns Weaver Miller, delivered excellent sessions focusing on shifts in population and the effect on markets; the changing office landscape including work/live/play environments; housing trends including multifamily and build-to-rent; the future of retail; market disruptions from tech innovations and their impact on urban environments; and where investment capital is looking to find value in these changing times.
Thursday, Oct. 21: The conference formally opened with a reception at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club and featured Amy Bond, head coach for the FSU women’s golf team, and Trey Jones, head coach for the FSU men’s golf team and director of FSU Golf. Sponsored by Cushman & Wakefield, NAI TALCOR Commercial Real Estate Services and Stearns Weaver Miller, this exceptional outdoor event enabled guests to network in comfort.
Friday, Oct. 22: The conference was hosted in person at the Turnbull Conference Center and delivered virtually to your desktop, with speakers also joining in person and virtually.
